Beef cattle production and management
Practical Action
You can keep individual cards for each cow on which you write everything that happens to that
cow in her lifetime. This is very useful if you are investigating infertility or decreased production
with your veterinary or extension officer. You can also keep separate records for different events
that happen on the farm such as a calving book, a service book, and an illness and treatment
book.
